Reagan blood for sale in auction

After the record sale of Babe Ruth's dirt- and sweat-stained 1920 jersey, perhaps it was no surprise that other bodily fluids of famous people would become news, in this case, a vial of President Ronald Reagan's blood.

A British (well, offshore in Guernsey) auction house is handling the proposed online auction this week of the vial of blood, taken during the 1981 assassination attempt on the president by John Hinckley.

The proposed sale has outraged the Reagan Foundation, though the seller reportedly attempted to sell the vial to the family and was told they would like it given to them. Instead, he invoked a bit of Reaganomics to say he'd rather make some money from selling it.
