Someone offered me a large carved Ivory tusk that'd been in the family for generations. It's not my specialty, and something in my mind to me to check out the state and federal laws concerning the sale of ivory. I ran through a bunch of poorly written articles that did not inspire confidence in me, but finally ran into this one, and I highly recommend it for anyone thinking about buying a carved ivory figure or tusk.
